Romantic pictures of Paris are everywhere today. I want to go back. Badly. Now.
To walk the streets and see the sights and eat the pain au chocolate and hear the sounds – like the tacky accordian players who board the RER (subway).
I want to see a few more of the things we didn’t see. Way more. And eat more. And drink more.
Let’s go, honey… Forget reality and just go.
With Edith Piaf as our muse.
Happy Valentine’s Day!

This is lovely! I love Edith Piaf, but I’ve never been to France! Ridiculous really, I’m not very far away. I’ll get there one day!
If I were you, I’d so be there right now… And I’m a big Edith Piaf fan. The tragedy, the love, the aching…
Go back? Me, just to go once…
Awww… Poor Dave
Some great shots, especially the one of the man holding an umbrella over his cello. Cartier-Bresson, amazing. And what more to say about Piaf? Yes, time to go back. Soon!
Wine-tasting, perhaps? Now there’s an idea! We’ll go with you and your lovely wife, Tim.
And these shots on Facebook are KILLING me!
Thanks for posting the video with the photos of Henri Cartier-Bresson, I am deeply moved! Edith Piaf ….!
