   Agree but ——rarely as a student—at least for me – my lack of practice always shows. As a teacher – sometimes on the 2nd play through the lack of practice shows up (or would it be lack of focus?).

     Yes – thank you, Judy.
     Sometimes I swear I have blushed when I’ve praised a student for working so well only to hear that they didn’t actually practice at all.
     A sign of true talent (as opposed to practice and focus)? Of course practice will win in the end.

   Funny… this happened to me this week. At least my student was honest about not practicing, because she usually does!
