I’ve heard and read about the Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother by Amy Chua, but I haven’t read it. Luba has written a wonderful review and personal response to it – and recommends all piano teachers read it to ponder the student-parent-teacher dynamics and culturally different parenting styles.  It’s a lovely post.
