I love today’s quote.
I made one up a few weeks ago and posted it to my studio door. Remember that old adage, “Practice makes perfect”? I turned that into “Practice makes consistent. Good practice makes successful. Great practice makes AWESOME!”
So how did the Hindemith go?
That’s my first time hearing the Kennan. Very angsty.

Mark says he’s never played better in public than last night with the Hindemith. I was too busy trying to play all the notes to notice how he was playing!
I can certainly appreciate it and the Kennan on an intellectual level – at times they’re almost fun – but my soul is longing for something a little less quartal and, as you put it, angsty. Some Chopin would work nicely just now.
